Masculine Birthday Card

This is an "oldie" but hopefully a "goodie."   I haven't had a lot of time this week to come up with some new cards because my 12-year-old son, Ben, is going to have foot surgery next Tuesday.  We found out Friday.  Needless to say there are many things that need to get done before Tuesday.  Anyway, I hope this card provides some inspiration for your cards.

Here's what I used:
  • Stamps:
    • Sincere Salutations
  • Paper:
    • Night of Navy
      • 5-1/2x8-1/2 for the card base
      • 1x5-1/4 for the middle band
    • Whisper White (approx. 5x5 to run through the Big Shot)
    • Prestwick DSP (retired - approx 5x5 to run through the Big Shot)
  • Ink:
    • Night of Navy
  • Accessories:
    • SU! Top Note Bigz Die
      • Run the DSP, Whisper White and both pieces of Night of Navy through the Big Shot.  You could probably run them all through at one time, but I did mine separately.
      • To make the white layer under the DSP, cut the Whisper White top note in half and scoot the pieces to the top and bottom of the DSP.
      • To make the Night of Navy band shorter, cut it in half and scoot the pieces in a little.  The seam will be covered by your greeting.
    • SU! Lots of Tags Sizzlits
    • Star Punch
    • Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware
    • SU! Backgrounds 1 Texturz Plates
Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow.  Have a great day!
