Side-Step Card

Today's card is called a Side-Step card.  It's really easy to make.  You can find the directions at Julie's Stamping Spot.  To make my card, I used the following supplies:
  • Main image:
    • 1-7/8"x4-1/8" Rich Razzleberry card stock
    • 1-3/4"x4" So Saffron card stock embossed using SU!'s Finial Press embossing folder
    • Old Olive swirls using the Swirls Scribbles Sizzlit
    • Rich Razzleberry flower and So Saffron flower (just cut out the center) using SU!'s Cherry Blossom Embosslit
    • Filigree Brad
    • Circle Ice Rhinestone Brad
  • Greeting:
    • 2"x2" Whisper White card stock
    • 2-1/4"x2-1/4" So Saffron card stock
    • 2-1/2"x2-1/2" Rich Razzleberry card stock
    • The greeting was stamped in Old Olive ink using one of my favorite retired SU! sets, but a greeting from the On Your Birthday stamp set would also work.
  • Other Elements:
    • 3-1/4"x3/4" strip of So Saffron designer paper (under the butterflies)
    • The butterflies were stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink on So Saffron card stock using the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set.  I filled in the polk-dots with a white gel pen.
    • "Happy Birthday" was embossed using Versamark ink and white embossing powder.
    • The small flowers were made using the Trio Flower Punch (on sale through Monday!) and Rich Razzleberry card stock.  The centers are 1/4" circle punches from So Saffron designer paper.
If you would like to purchase any of these supplies, be sure to stop by my Stampin' Up! website by clicking on the "Order Stampin' Up! Online" button on the right or click here.  While you're there, check out the project gallery and the events section for upcoming classes.  See you Monday!
