Another "For All You Do" MDS Card

I should probably break over and purchase this stamp set, but I'm having so much fun using it in MDS that I might not need to!  This is a hybrid card.  Here are a few tips on how to make it:
  • The colors are Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Crushed Curry.
  • The scalloped rectangle layer is actually several overlapping scallop square "punches."
  • I added the greeting while I was working in MDS but deleted it before I printed it.  I used my "real" wide oval punch, scalloped oval punch and large oval punch to create it.  I printed the greeting on a second page of my card file and then punched it out.  It's mounted on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  • The "gel pen" dots were created with the 1.25 circle punch.  I reduce the size to 5x5 pixels.  To make the process faster, once you have a few of them in place, select multiple dots and then copy/paste.
  • The silver brads and the Crushed Curry small flower (made using the "real" trio flower punch) were added after the card front was printed.
  • The card front is printed on 4x6 glossy photo paper and cut down to 4x5-1/4.  It is adhered to a
4-1/8x5-3/8 piece of Old Olive card stock and then to a Rich Razzleberry base.
Did you have a good Halloween?  We did...even though it POURED rain when it was time to go trick or treating.  No worries.  We were visiting with my sister so we went to a couple of her in-laws' houses and visited.  It was a really nice "family" night topped off with some great Mexican food (can't beat it on a cool, rainy night).

Have a wonderful week!
