Super Easy Treat Holder

Tomorrow night I'm participating in a women's meeting at church themed around being thrifty by giving handmade gifts and cards.  Okay, so most of us can probably attest to the fact that we spend way too much money on crafts which makes it not that thrifty (but a lot less expensive than therapy!).  However, if we really put our minds to it, we can come up with some really low-cost projects.

Which brings me to today's project - a Triangular Treat Box which I'll be sharing with the ladies at church.  (I'm not sure who came up with this...sorry...it's been around for years!)  It could easily be made with nothing more than a 4-1/2x5 piece of pretty paper and some ribbon tied around it.  Since I had a few tools handy, I took mine a little bit further but not much.

Inside.....Mini M&Ms!

I ran my 4-1/2x5 piece of cardstock through my Big Shot using the new Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder (Occasions Mini).  I added a piece of White Organza Ribbon and a tag made with the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, Modern Label Punch and Magnetic Movers & Shapers Punch Windows die.  I made the heart with the new Small Heart Punch (Occasions Mini).

Here are the dimensions and scoring measurements.  You can adjust the length to the size of your candy.  It's also the perfect size to hold Hershey kisses.  Whatever you put in your treat box, be sure to add a little tape to it so it doesn't slide out the ends.

Have a great day!
Beth
