Flight of the Butterfly

I'm using up some of that retiring color card stock again...Brocade Blue.  I'm definitely going to miss this one, but I'm looking forward to Marina Mist which is similar.

I used the "Faux Shaving Cream" technique for the butterfly.  I inked up the butterfly stamp with Bashful Blue and then twisted/rolled a wheel inked in Brocade Blue which is a little bit darker.  It really doesn't matter what wheel pattern you use; it just needs to be swirly/line art versus a solid image.

Here's the supplies I used:

Stamps:
Flight of the Butterfly
Oval All
Whirly-Twirly Wheel (Retired)

Paper:
Brocade Blue
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Scraps for Scalloped Oval & Flower
Night of Navy DSP (Level 1 Hostess Pack)
     5-1/12x2 Layer
Night of Navy
     4-1/4x2-1/4 Layer
Whisper White
     4x2 Main Image
     5-1/2x1 Strip for Scallop Trim
     Scrap for Oval

Ink:

Brocade Blue Classic Stamp Pad
Night of Navy Classic Stamp Pad

Accessories:

Have a great week!
Beth
