May Stamp-A-Stack Card #1

I have my monthly stamp-a-stacks this Thursday, so there won't be much time for me to stamp this week.  Instead, I'm sharing the cards we'll be making.  This card is a combination of these two cards on Lyssa Zwolanek's blog.

Whenever you use an embossing folder with a lot of detail - like the Square Lattice embossing folder - your paper is going to shrink a little due to the embossing.  To get a more "true" size, I embossed a larger piece of card stock and then cut it down to size.  That allowed me to straighten it a little if necessary, too.

Here's what I used:

Stamps:
Pocket Silhouettes
Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper:
Soft Suede 5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Baja Breeze 4-1/4x5-1/2 original size cut down to 3-3/4x5
Naturals Ivory 2-1/4x2-1/4 Main Image
So Saffron Scraps for Greeting

Ink:
Soft Suede Classic Stamp Pad
So Saffron Classic Stamp Pad

Accessories:
SU! Square Lattice Embossing Folder (Summer Mini)
Modern Label Punch
Gold Brads
Paper Piercer & Mat Pack
Stampin' Dimensionals

Stop back by tomorrow to see card #2.
