MDS - Summertime Splendor

The main image of this card is a My Digital Studio download - Summertime Splendor.  I have to admit, when I first saw this new download, I didn't give it much thought because I was only thinking of it as scrapbooking paper.  Fortunately, a lot of talented and creative people who can think "outside of the box" created beautiful cards using it.  I had to give it a try. (I printed this on my home printer using Stampin' Up!'s Whisper White card stock.)

Here's what I used:

Watercolor Trio for the Greeting (Summer Mini)

Melon Mambo
     8-1/2x5-1/2 Card Base
     Scrap for Scalloped Oval
Daffodil Delight - COMING SOON!
     4x5-1/4 Large Layer
Whisper White
     3-3/4x5 Main Image

Black Stazon for Greeting

Large Oval Punch
Scalloped Oval Punch
White Satin Ribbon
Stampin' Dimensionals

Edited 5/25:  In case you need help sizing/printing the Summer Splendor images in MDS once you have downloaded them, this is an easy way (learned this way by watching Patty Bennett's video's much more simple than what I was doing originally):
1)  Open a new project; I created a 4-1/4x5-1/2 Greeting Card.
2)  Choose Create Your Own, name your project and then select Blank Page.
3)  From the Resource Palette (LH side), click on the Designer Paper Icon and browse to find the Summertime Splendor DSP you downloaded.
4)  Next, from the Design Center (RH side), select the Photos tab.
5)  Click on Photo Box.  You can re-size the box to fit your project.
6)  To place the "paper" in the photo box, drag and drop the design you like best onto the photo box.  The box will turn a different shade when you have the photo positioned correctly.
7)  If you want to tweak which part of the image is showing, double-click it and then move the crop box around.
8)  Print, mount and embellish your card.

Hope this is helpful.

Have a great day!
