Friend to Friend

Got another "case" for you today.  I didn't feel like coming up with anything...again.  So, I opened up my July Stampin' Success and saw the cutest journal cover which became my card.  The butterfly polka dots were stamped with Versamark.  How much easier is that than inking up (and cleaning) a stamp three different times with three different colors?  I didn't have a neutral button-okay, cousin Sonya, you're going to be proud-I remembered a button that I had found today when I was going through a "junk" box.  Perfect size and color for this card.  It's a small step towards repurposing {smile}.  If you haven't checked out my cousin's blog Beyond the Screen Door, be sure to take a look.  She can see potential in anything and everything!

Back to stamping...this is what I used:

Sanded Background
Dot to Dot
Teeny Tiny Wishes

Crumb Cake (aka Kraft)
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Very Vanilla
     5-1/2x2 Scalloped Layer
Marina Mist
     5-1/2x1/4 Strip
     Scrap for Butterfly
Early Espresso
     5-1/2x3/4 Strip
Pear Pizzazz
     Scrap for Butterfly
Cajun Craze
     Scrap for Butterfly

Crumb Cake Stamp Pad
Early Espresso Stamp Pad
Versamark Stamp Pad

Salvaged Button!
Scallop Border Punch
Butterfly Punch
Linen Thread
Mini Glue Dots
Stampin' Dimensionals
(I didn't use my Big Shot!  I had to hold myself back from "texturizing" something.)

Have a great weekend!
