Baby Cards - Part 2




This is the last of the baby cards.  The cards from Tuesday's post will probably be used for the baby shower and these for the arrival.  I made them using a similar layout of this card.

Start with a piece of card stock that is 4-1/4x10-1/2 inches.  Scallop one end and then score at 5-1/2 inches measuring from the scalloped end. 

The bear is actually Crumb Cake card stock sponged with Soft Suede ink (that's the name of the color...it doesn't really give it a suede feel...wish it did).  Crumb Cake card stock by itself was too light and Soft Suede card stock seemed too dark and flat.  I found that I liked the affect from "rubbing" the sponge on the card stock better than "pouncing" the sponge on the card stock.  Also, it was easier to sponge the card stock before cutting out the bear because of the indentions on the bear.

Early Espresso
     Scraps for Behind Eyes and Ears 
     (I used my Early Espresso marker to color his nose, mouth, and paws.)
