Christmas in August?

I had a little project that I was working on this weekend - yes, Christmas related - so I wanted to show you how easy it is to re-purpose a card layout.  This is the exact layout of the card from Friday, but I used different papers and a different main image.  It saved so much time not having to come up with an entirely new layout.

All of the measurements are the same, except for the main image.  The DSP is 2-1/4x2-1/4 and the Very Vanilla "mat" is 2-3/8x2-3/8.

Here's the supply list:

Stamps:
Delightful Decorations

Paper:
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
Very Vanilla Card Stock
Jolly Holiday DSP

Ink:
Cherry Cobbler Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Linen Thread
SU! Backgrounds 1 Texture Plates
Ornament Punch
Scallop Edge Punch
Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch
Stampin' Dimensionals

I promise this isn't the start of Christmas cards.  As much as I love Christmas, it's still a bit too early.

Have a wonderful week!
Beth

  3. beth--found your blog through SCS and i'm so glad i did! great work! just one question: how did you get that thread tied around the top and not have tails?

  4. Hi, Jenn! I tied a bow and then taped the tails to the back. The "hanger" part is just a straight piece of linen thread...not attache dot the bow. Hope that helps!
