Daisy Note Card

For the inspiration for today's card, I decided to go "old school".....I looked at one of my crafting magazines.  You know, a magazine is one of those things you hold in your hand and you flip through "paper pages"....not "digital pages."  Some of you who know me are probably shocked that I actually have a few magazines still around since I'm known to purge quite often.  LOL

This layout came from a Paper Crafts magazine (I think - I had several out and now they're all back in the magazine holder).  It's a 3x6 card.  The only stamping is the polk-dot background which I made with the Dot-Dot-Dot stamp (reminds me of the Mama Mia movie - dot, dot, dot).  I had to use my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to make sure the dots were all straight and lined up correctly.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Dot-Dot-Dot

Paper:
Night of Navy
     6x6 Card Base
Whisper White
     (2) 3x3 Pieces for the Daisy
3x3/4 Embossed Strip (make it a little larger to allow for shrinkage)
Daffodil Delight
     3x1 Punched Strip
Greenhouse Gala DSP
     3x1 Green Layer
     Scrap for Green Circle
     Scrap for Brad Center

Ink:
     Night of Navy Stamp Pad

Accessories:
     Daisies #2 Die
     SU! Square Lattice Embossing Folder
     Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch
     Build-A-Brad
     1/2" Circle Punch (Brad)
3/4" Circle Punch (Green Behind Brad)
     Glue Dots
     Stampin' Dimensionals
     Stamp-A-Ma-Jig
     Silver Cord

Have a great day!
Beth

  2. Remember...at the beginning of the movie the daughter was reading her mother's journal and at the end of each entry the mom had written - . . . instead of going into the steamy details. :)
