Simple Owl

After my Stamp-A-Stacks last week, I had a couple of owls left over.  What could I do but build a card around the leftovers?  He's too cute to throw away!

The scalloped layer was made by cutting out two of the large squares from the Scallop Squares Duo Die (Holiday Mini) and then layering them to make a scalloped rectangle.

Here's what I used:

Stamps:
Curly Cute

Paper:
Baja Breeze
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Soft Suede
3-1/4x3-1/4 (x2) for the Scalloped Squares
     Scraps for the Owl
Cherry Cobbler
     3-7/8x2-5/8 Layer
     Scrap for the Heart
Pear Pizzazz
     Scraps for the Branches
Crumb Cake
     Scraps for the Eyes
Retired DSP for the Vest
Confetti White
     3-5/8x2-3/8 Layer

Ink:
Soft Suede Stamp Pad

Accessories:
SU! Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
SU! Scallop Squares Duo Bigz Die
Two-Step Bird Punch (Branches)
Two-Step Owl Punch
Wiggly Eyes
Mini Glue Dots
Stampin' Dimensionals

Be sure to check out Stampin' Up!'s Clearance Rack Blitz!  Over 200 greatly reduced items will be added between now and October 18.  Items are available while supplies last.  To get the best price, be sure to choose a demonstrator (if you don't have one, you can select me as your demo).
