Stamp-A-Stack Owl

So this is the owl card the ladies made at the stamp-a-stacks last week.  It's so easy to make this scalloped circle card.  Just take a 5-1/2x8-1/2 piece of card stock and fold it in half like you would a regular card.  Next, place it on the Scallop Circle Bigz Die with 4 of the die's scallops still showing above your fold line (so you won't cut through the fold).  Run it through your Big Shot and ta-da....cute scalloped circle card.  The circle in the middle was cut using the Clear Circle Bigz Die.  It layers perfectly.

Here's what I used

Stamps:
Woodgrain Background
Short & Sweet

Paper:
Baja Breeze
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Crumb Cake
     4-1/4x4-1/4 for the Circle
     Scraps for the Eyes
Cherry Cobbler
Scraps for the Scalloped Circle and Heart
Soft Suede
     Scraps for the Owl
Pear Pizzazz
     Scraps for the Branch
Retired DSP for the Vest

Ink:
Early Espresso Stamp Pad
(This woodgrain background for this sample was made with Early Espresso, but the ladies actually used a Crumb Cake stamp pad at the SAS.  It's just a little softer.  Either looks good.)

Accessories:
Scallop Circle Bigz Die
Clear Circle Bigz Die
Scallop Circle Punch
Two-Step Owl Punch
Two-Step Bird Punch (Branch)
Pear Pizzazz Stitched-Poly Ribbon
Wiggly Eyes
Mini Glue Dots
Stampin' Dimensionals

Happy Wednesday!
