I'm Still Here!

So sorry I haven't posted in a while.  Life has been crazy (good) here lately.  David got a job (God is GOOD)!  We've been scrambling to work on planning for a new house since we sold ours last fall.  We're building a one-story house that will better accommodate Ben's mobility needs.  I'm definitely getting re-acquainted with the word "compromise" throughout this process.  Ha!

I made this card awhile back.  (I hope to get back to more regular stamping once David is back at work.)  I used the new Create A Cupcake stamp set and coordinating punch.  David has learned some things about SU! since sitting behind me in our little "office" cubby for 2 months.  He couldn't believe that I have a punch (not just one, honey) that aligns with a stamp set.  I told him "that's the beauty of Stampin' Up!...coordination".

Here's what I used:

Stamps:
Create A Cupcake

Paper:
Crumb Cake
     8-1/2x5-1/2 Card Base
     2-7/8x2-1/2 Scalloped Layer
     Scrap for Scallop Circle

Blushing Bride
4x5-3/8 Embossed Layer (Cut down to 4x5-1/4)
     Scrap for Flower
Blushing Bride DSP (Level 1 Hostess Pack)
     2-3/4x2 Layer Behind Cupcake
     2-3/4x1/4 Strip
Whisper White Scraps for Cupcake

Ink:
Blushing Bride Stamp Pad
Crumb Cake Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Create A Cupcake Punch
Scallop Circle Punch
Itty Bitty Shapes Punch
Scallop Trim Border Punch
Two-Way Glue Pen
Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
White Satin Ribbon
Finial Press Embossing Folder
Pearls
Mini Glue Dots
Stampin’ Dimensionals

Have a great weekend!  Hope to be back soon....
Beth

Don't let David know too much about all your stamping goodies. :)

  2. Very cute card! My husband likes to "learn" too when he comes to my craft room.....if only he really knew!

  3. This is adorable! I bet the last few months have been interesting for you and David! It's hard to work with precious husbands in the house when you're used to them being at work. Believe me, it is an adjustment and took me a while! But I love it now!
