I've Been Lazy....

Okay, not completely lazy - more like busy.  Unfortunately, I've not been busy stamping!  However, I have planned a "Card Buffet" for the end of January and this card is one of the options.  The ladies will can make it in pink, blue or yellow.

To make the scalloped card, start with a 5-1/2x8-1/2 piece of card stock folded in half.  Lay the folded card stock with the fold just below the first row of scallops on the Scallop Square Clear Bigz Die and run it through your Big Shot.  The finished card is approximately 4-1/4x4 which will fit in a standard invitation-sized envelope.  I don't use square envelopes anyway because they take more postage.

Here's what I used:

Stamps:
Short & Sweet
Tiny Tags

Paper:
Pretty in Pink
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
     Scrap for Scalloped Oval
Whisper White
     3-7/8x3-1/2 Embossed Layer
     Scrap for Greeting

Ink:
Basic Gray Stamp Pad
Pretty in Pink Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon
Scalloped Oval Punch
1-3/4x7/8 Oval Punch
Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder
Scallop Square Clear Bigz Die
Silver Brads
Mat Pack and Paper Piercer
Stampin' Dimensionals

Have a great weekend!

  2. This is a beautiful card! I love the idea of using yellow, in addition to pink and blue.
