Poppy Parade Birthday

This is another card the ladies will be making at the April Card Buffet.  You probably can't see it in the picture, but the bottom portion is embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (you may be able to see it better if you click on the picture). The other cards have a somewhat "vintage" feel to them.  This one is bright and cheerful.  Variety is a good thing!

Here's what I used:

Stamps:
Friends Never Fade
Occasional Quotes

Paper:
Poppy Parade
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Pear Pizzazz
     2-1/2x2-1/2 Layer

     2-1/4x2-1/4 Main Image
Concord Crush DSP (Level 1 Hostess Pack)
     5-1/2x1 Strip

Ink:
Concord Crush Marker
Pear Pizzazz Marker
Poppy Parade Marker
Black Stazon Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
1/8" Handheld Circle Punch
Concord Crush Stitched Poly Ribbon

Stampin' Dimensionals

Posting may be a little sporadic during April.  Ben is having surgery tomorrow and will be recuperating for 3 weeks at home.  This will be the 4th year in a row that he has had surgery, and he is such a trooper.  This surgery is not as extensive as previous surgeries, and we hope it will help relieve some of the pain caused by tight muscles in his legs.  We appreciate your prayers for a succesful surgery and speedy recovery!

On a positive note, we're moving into our house May 3rd, so we'll also be busy packing up the apartment....although a lot of our belongings have been in storage for 6 months.  I wonder what's in there?  Can't hardly remember...must mean we can "clean out" some more.  We are so blessed to be moving into this single-story house.  David was unemployed for 4 months last fall, but we were able to sell our old house, he found another job and we are building a house that will work so much better for Ben now that he uses a wheelchair.  God is Good!!!

Thanks for stopping by!
Beth
