Build-A-Blossom Note Card

A couple of weeks ago, I played around a little with the Build A Blossom stamp set.  This is a
4-1/4x4-1/4 note card that I used as a thank-you note.

To construct the blossom, I started with a 1" circle and covered it with double-sided tape, added the first layer and then the second.  It's good to use an adhesive you can reposition because you'll need to play with the petals a little get them lined up.  The leaves were also made with the Blossom Petals Punch.  I first ran a piece of Petal Pizzazz card stock through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and then punched the leaves out.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Build A Blossom

Paper:
Pumpkin Pie
     4-1/4x8-1/2 Card Base
Greenhouse Gala DSP
     4x4 Large Layer
Daffodil Delight
     Scraps for Petals
Pear Pizzazz
     Scraps for Leaves

Ink:
Daffodil Delight Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Blossom Petals Punch
Square Lattice Embossing Folder
Designer Buttons-Subtles Collection
DMC Floss
Mini Glue Dots
Stampin' Dimensionals

Take care,
Beth

Thanks so much for the stylish blogger nomination...I've actually already gotten a few so I won't do the whole kit and kaboodle again but I'll try to remember to link back to you with my next post:-) Thanks so much, I really do appreciate it!
