Christmas in July....Continued

I've been working on a lot of Christmas cards the last week or so.  David can't understand how I can possibly be making Christmas cards when the heat index is over 100 degrees.  Believe me, I'm not listening to Christmas music while I work.  It's way too soon for that.  I do really enjoy making Christmas cards.

I made these as samples for a custom order I received...for 100 cards.  I really didn't want to do 100 cards of the same style because it would get boring.  However, I also didn't want too many designs because I can work like I'm on an assembly line if I'm making a stack of the same cards.

The first two cards were made using the Letters to Santa DSP (which at first I didn't like...but now I LOVE it).  The colors are Marina Mist (which I just realized I used Baja Breeze on the sample card...I think it still looks okay...but being OCD I'll take it apart and redo it later), Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Whisper White. I used the Tree Trimmings stamp set.

The last card uses a retired paper from last year....I think it was called Jolly Holiday...Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Very Vanilla CS.  I used the Delightful Decorations stamp set.

If you have any other questions about the cards, just let me know.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Very pretty Christmas cards! Tell David maybe if you keep making cards it will cool off! :)

  2. These are really pretty, Beth. But I'm with David. I'm having a hard time even thinking of Fall much less Christmas! Wish I could though. It would be nice to get a head start on Christmas...for once!
