Happy 4th of July...A Little Early

Hard to believe it's that time of year again.  It's fun to make make 4th of July cards...you don't have to figure out a color combo!

To make the white/striped background layer, I cut all of the strips 5/8"x2-1/4".  Next, I layered them on the 3-3/4"x5" piece of white card stock.  I ran the completed piece through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:

Paper:
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
     (2) 5/8x2-1/4 Strips
     Scrap for Star
     4x5-1/4 Large Layer
     (2) 5/8x2-1/4 Strips
     Scrap for Star
     3-3/4x5 Large Layer
     (2) 5/8x2-1/4 Strips
     Scrap for Greeting

Ink:
Black Stazon Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Word Window Punch
Square Lattice Embossing Folder
Red Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Large Star Punch, Small Star Punch (Retired)

I hope you, your family and friends have a safe and happy holiday!  See you next week.

Take care,
Beth
