Trendy Trees Birthday

It's a cool, rainy day here in NC, so I really felt like using Fall colors for this card. I used the "Rock and Roll" technique for the leaves on the tree.  Pick two colors to use for your image.  Ink up your stamp with the lightest of the two.  Next, roll and rock just the edges of the rubber image on the other stamp pad to pick up the 2nd color around the outside edges.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Trendy Trees
Vintage Labels (Retired)

Paper:
More Mustard CS
     8-1/2x5-1/2 Card Base
Early Espresso CS
     3-7/8x5-1/8 Large Layer
     3-3/4x1 (x2) Scalloped Borders
Scrap for Scallop Behind Main Image
Cajun Craze CS
3-3/4x5 Embossed Layer (Finished Size....I started with a slightly larger piece before embossing.)
     Scrap for Circle
Very Vanilla CS
     Scraps for Greeting and Circle
Autumn Spice DSP
(This is retired paper, but you can download a digital kit to print your own at home.)
     3-3/4x2-1/4 Layer
     Scrap for Scallop Circle

Ink:
Early Espresso Stamp Pad
Cajun Craze Stamp Pad
More Mustard Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Houndstooth Embossing Folder
1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch
1-1/4" Circle Punch
1-3/8" Circle Punch
Word Window Punch
Eyelet Border Punch
Misc. Brad

  2. I had to go back and see all the cards I'd missed! I haven't had much computer time lately but you've been busy! LOL! All your cards are so pretty. Loved the Christmas one with the reindeer.
