Attic Boutique Sympathy

I had a chance to make something new yesterday!  It really helps me mentally to create something.  I'm still pretty worried about Ben.  It's hard to know exactly how his back must feel, and he isn't able to communicate it very well.  He's having a lot of trouble "leaning forward" and it hurts for him to sit more than about 30 minutes.  I'm sure it will just take time, but it's still hard not being able to just fix it for him.

Back to the card.  I've seen layouts similar to this on blogs and Pinterest.  It's a really easy card to make once you have the measurements...and I have them for you. :)

Here's what I used:

Stamps:
Love & Sympathy
Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper:
Pool Party CS
     8-1/2x5-1/2 Card Base
     (2) 1x3-3/4 Strips for Scallop Borders
Soft Suede CS
3-3/4x4 for Large Label (counting the smallest first, it's the 3rd framelit)
Very Vanilla CS
3x3-1/2 for Smaller Label (counting the smallest first, it's the 2nd framelit)
     Scrap for Greeting
Attic Boutique DSP
     3-3/4x5 Brown Piece
     3-3/4x3-1/2 Floral Piece

Ink:
Crumb Cake Marker
Pool Party Stamp Pad*
Early Espresso Stamp Pad

*I inked the flower with the Pool Party Stamp Pad trying to get just the flower.  Wipe off the excess ink from the stems with a damp paper towel.  Ink the stems with the Crumb Cake marker.  I find that with the lighter inks, you get a much better result using the stamp pad intead of the marker.

Accessories:
Labels Collection Framelits
Silver Brads
Paper Piercer & Mat Pack
Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch
Small Oval Punch (Retired)
Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!
