Single Layer Note Card

I'm not sure I've ever made a card from just one piece of card stock, but I received my new 2012-2013 In Color stamp pads and wanted to try them out.  The new "firm foam" pads are WONDERFUL!  Just a light tap and your image is fully inked.  If you don't get a good, stamped image with these pads, it's probably because you didn't press the stamp evenly on the card stock...it will not be for lack of ink!  As a matter of fact, if you purchase a new pad and it seems a little too "juicy,"  Stampin' Up! recommends taking a paper towel and blotting some of the excess from your stamp pad.

Not only are the firm foam Stamp Pads great, but how about these new colors...Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green.  I love the new In-Colors and I bet you will too.

Here's everything I used....it's a really short list and doesn't even include a punch, Big Shot item or dimensionals (gasp!):

Stamps:
Field Flowers
Thank You Kindly (Hurry, it retires May 31st!)

Paper:
Very Vanilla Card Stock
5x7 Card Base (5x3-1/2 Finished Size)

Ink:
Gumball Green Stamp Pad
Raspberry Ripple Stamp Pad
Black Stazon Stamp Pad

Accessories:
NONE!

Have a great week!
Beth
