SSC258 Challenge

There's just no substitue for natural light for photos, and I have very little of it in my house.  So, I decided to try taking the picture outside and what a difference!  The colors look much more true to life.  Now I just need plenty of sunny, calm days!

This card is for my niece, Nicole.  I love the vibrant colors in the new Floral District DSP, so I decided to pair them with the Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge.  I usually don't make square cards because I don't have the proper envelope.  Since I'll give her this card in person this year, I made a matching envelope using Jackie Topa's awesome instructions and measurements

I used the measurements for the 4-1/2" square card (see her file with loads of measurements), so it's a tad too large, but still works fine.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Mixed Bunch
Create A Cupcake

Paper:
Rich Razzleberry Card Stock
     5x5 for Scalloped Square
Whisper White Card Stock
     4x8 Body of Card
     Scraps for Flowers and Greeting
Floral District DSP
     4x2 Card Layer
     8x8 Envelope

Ink:
Rich Razzleberry Stamp Pad
Baja Breeze Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die
Blossom Punch
3/4" Circle Punch
Word Window Punch
Decorative Label Punch (Envelope)
Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon
Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!
