CCMC211 Sketch Challenge

I really wanted to make something this morning, but I just couldn't come up with any ideas.  That's where sketch challenges are a huge help.  This card is my take on Create with Connie & Mary's challenge.  Here's the sketch:

2012 Create Challenges-027

I like how the borders don't go all the way to the top and the bottom, but for my card I just really preferred it going the entire length (OCD tendencies!).

The patterned paper is part of the Festival of Prints DSP Stack (126904, page 20) in the new Holiday Catalog which goes live TOMORROW!  It's a real bargain if you want lots of different patterns but don't want to spend a lot.  You get 48 sheets that are 4-1/2" x  6-1/2" which is a great size for card fronts or mounting photos.  The 48 sheets includes 4 each of 12 doubled-sided designs...for only $6.95!  Be sure to check it out.

Here's everything I used:

  2. I agree with you; the borders look much better going all the way from the top to the bottom. :) This is beautiful and helps remind me that this heat and humidity will not last forever. :)
