Daffodil Delight...Again

For some reason, I keep gravitating towards Daffodil Delight...and it really isn't one of my favorite colors.  I think I like it better when I pair it with a neutral, so it's growing on me.  This is actually a get well card (the verse is inside).  I just couldn't come up with a good spot on the outside of the card for a greeting without messing up the whole thing.

Here's what I used:

Field Flowers

Daffodil Delight Card Stock
     4-1/4x11 Card Base
Whisper White Card Stock
     4-1/4x5-1/2 Main Image
4-1/4x1 for the Scalloped Piece (I think it was 1 inch...could have been 1-1/4...sorry)
Crumb Cake DSP (Designer Series Paper Stock-Neutrals)
     4-1/4x2-1/4 Striped Piece
Daffodil Delight Stamp Pad
Crumb Cake Stamp Pad

Apothecary Accents Framelits
Adorning Accents Edgelits
Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon
Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack
Stampin' Pierce Mat and Paper-Piercing Tool
Stampin' Dimensionals
Mini Glue Dots (to adhere the bow)

August is just around the corning and it's going to be fun month...the Holiday Catalog goes live and MDS2 is released.  More info to come...

Have a great weekend!

  1. Beautiful card! I love the yellow, especially with the gray and white. :)
