Happy Day to You

I like to get as much mileage out of patterned paper as I can, especially when planning for a class.  I like for everyone to have as much of the same supplies as possible so no one is disappointed.  I "try" to use 3" or 4" pieces in either 1", 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" widths.   I really wanted to keep this card exactly the same for everyone, so I cut the overall layering down to accommodate a 4" strip.  I actually like how it turned out because there's not as much blank white space at the top.

I made the tag using one of the framelits from the new Apothecary Accents Framelits.  It's rounded on both ends, but I just cut one end off.  I used as corner as my guide (not the rounded part) and cut at 2-1/2 inches.

Here's what I used:

Stamps:
Friendly Phrases
Bright Blossoms

Paper:
Island Indigo CS
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
     2x3-1/2 for Tag
     4x1 Decorative Strip
Daffodil Delight CS
     4-1/4x3 Large Layer
Whisper White CS
     2-3/4x4 Large Layer
     1-1/4x2-1/4 Main Image
Summer Smooches DSP
     4x1 Strip

Ink:
Island Indigo Marker
Lucky Limeade Marker
Black Stazon Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Finishing Touches Edgelits
Island Indigo Baker's Twine
Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon (Retired)
Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!
