Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #68

I really, really like this sketch that I found at Random Acts of Creativity.  Besides being a great sketch for everyday use, I can really see it as a Christmas card layout, too.  Maybe that will be an upcoming post.  Here's the sketch:

Sometimes I forget that I have monochromatic papers like the paper stacks and the new Polka Dot Parade DSP.  If you're just getting started with Stampin' Up!, all of the colors in this pack of patterned paper coordinate with the colors in the Getting Started Card Stock and Classic Stampin' Spots collections.

Here's everything I used:

Whimsical Words (a former Sale-A-Bration set)

Daffodil Delight CS
     8-1/2x5-1/2 Card Base
     3-1/2x1-3/4 Embossed Layer
     2-1/2x2-1/2 Decorative Circle
     Scrap for Butterfly
Whisper White CS
     3x3 Doily
     1/4x5-1/2 Strip Beside DSP
     2x2 Greeting
Polka Dot Parade DSP
     3-1/2x5-1/2 Large Layer

Black Stazon Ink Pad

3/16" Corner Punch
1-3/4" Circle Punch
Beautiful Wings Embosslit
Delicate Doilies Sizzlits
Square Lattice Embossing Folder
White Taffeta Ribbon
Stampin' Dimensionals

Have a great weekend!

  1. What a lovely monochromatic card! You totally made the yellow work on its own :)
