Christmas Re-do

Last week I made this card as part of a sketch challenge.  I wasn't 100% satisfied with the ivory background.  Plus, I saw this card where Melissa used the scalloped borders on each side, and I had to make a card like it.

To make the scalloped borders, I started with a 4-1/4x5-1/2 inch piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock.  I used the Large Scalloped Edgelit to cut each side making sure to get it as close to the edge as possible (holding it in place with small Post-It Notes).  Next, I embossed each side.  The tricky part is to make sure you get the raised edge on both sides (ask me how I know).  I like to cut with the edgelit first because if you emboss first and then cut, it tends to smoosh the embossing a little when you run it back through a second time.  Just being a little picky.
