Craft & Rubber Scissors to the Rescue!

If you're a stamper, the Blooming with Kindness set is definitely a must-have set.  You can make pretty cards in a snap!  I love that it has not only a beautiful flower image, but several greetings.

So why the title for this post?  I wanted to use one of the Delicate Designs Folders on this card, but they're just a tad too wide to go through the Big Shot sideways like on this card.  Why not just trim them?

I used my Craft & Rubber Scissors (don't use a really sharp pair of scissors because the plastic will dull them) to trim just to the edge of the design.  Now it goes through the Big Shot any way I want it to.  Plus, to make sure I didn't get a line from the folder edge running across my card, I put the top cutting pad just below the edge of the folder.  It's a little tricky to get the "sandwich" through the Big Shot, but it's totally doable.

Here's everything I used:

     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
