I'm Here for You

Black and yellow is such an interesting color combination.  I thought it might work well for a "thinking of you" card.  My new go-to set is Blooming with Kindness.  The flower image is gorgeous and an elegant font was used for the sentiments.

I need to explain a little about the white scalloped border behind the patterned paper.  I always seem to make things more complicated than they have to be.  Anyway, I didn't want to have to wrap a piece of ribbon around the entire card (because I'm also tight with my ribbon), so I die cut the scallop from a larger piece of Whisper White rather than just making a strip.  That way, I could wrap my ribbon ends to the back of the WW card stock instead of behind the patterned paper.  The ribbon is too bulky to wrap behind patterned paper.

It's kind of difficult to get the measurements exactly right, so I started with a 5-1/2x1-7/8 piece of Whisper White and then used one of the Finishing Touches Edgelits to make the border.  The patterned paper started out as 5-1/2x1-3/4.  I put the two together and then trimmed it down to where the patterned paper was 1-1/2 inches.  Does that make sense at all?  I told you can make things too complicated!

Here's everything I used:
