Merry Monday to You

Hard to believe Christmas is less than 4 months away!  Does that start your Monday off on a positive note or maybe a sour note?  LOL  I'm not anxious for Christmas to actually get here, but I do enjoy the months leading up to Christmas.

This is one of several cards you'll be seeing where I used the new Holiday Frames embossing folder.  One thing I want to point out...the folder does have a specific direction it needs to go.  See the tree in the bottom center?

Also, to get a nice bold tree, I stamped the star and tree trunk first (no ink on the tree).  Next, I stamped the tree using a Gumball Green stamp pad (since I don't do so well with markers on a bold image), cut it out and layered it with the star and trunk.  Next, I cut it out using aLabel Collection Framelit.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Joyous Celebrations
Pennant Parade

Paper:
Gumball Green Card Stock
     4-1/4x11 Card Base
4x5-1/4 Embossed Layer (worked better than embossing the card front)
Very Vanilla Card Stock
     2x2-1/2 Main Image
     Scraps for Tree and Greeting
Be of Good Cheer DSP
     2-1/2x3 Patterned Layer

Ink:
Cherry Cobbler Marker
Early Espresso Marker
Gumball Green Stamp Pad
Cherry Cobbler Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Holiday Frame Embossing Folder
Labels Collection Framelits
Bitty Banners Framelits
Rhinestones
Corner Punch
Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!
