PPA140 Color Challenge

So, this is the first time I've ever participated in a color challenge - the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge #140.  These are the colors:

I love sketch challenges, but have shyed away from color challenges for some reason.  Time to step out of the box and give something new a try!

I've seen the layered flags on several other cards and had wanted to use that same idea.  These are such bright, happy colors that I thought they would work well for this challenge.

Here's everything I used:

Word Play

Marina Mist Card Stock
     4-1/4x11 Card Base
Summer Starfruit Card Stock
     3-7/8x5-1/8 Layer
Whisper White Card Stock
     3-3/4x5 Layer
Polka Dot Parade DSP (Marina Mist)
     1x2-1/2 Flag
Summer Smooches DSP (Real Red)
     1x3-1/4 Flag
Patio Party DSP (Summer Starfruit)
     1x3-1/2 Flag

Summer Starfruit Marker
Real Red Marker
Marina Mist Marker

1" Square Punch
Brights Buttons Collection
White Baker's Twine
Mini Glue Dots

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  2. Love this card! Way to step out of the box. If you're looking for another color challenge you should check out the ColourQ. I'm on the design team over there and would love to see what you could create with our weekly colors.
