Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

Happy Thanksgiving! After you enjoy all that good food, you might find yourself in the mood to work on some Christmas cards (okay, maybe you need to take a nap first).

I have a confession to make... I almost bought some boxed cards to shorten my handmade card list. Then I started thinking about the patterned paper and card stock I need to use and came to my senses.

Your holiday cards don't have to be complicated and fancy.   Let the patterned paper do the work for you. I made these cards using the Snow Festival DSP. This paper is so incredibly cute that it doesn't need a lot of stamped images or embellishments.

Here's what I used for these:

Stamps:
More Merry Messages (25% off through Nov. 28)

Paper:
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
     4-1/4x11 Card Base
     Scrap for Scalloped Oval
Gumball Green Card Stock
     4x5-1/4 Large Layer
Snow Festival DSP
     3-3/4x5 Large Layer

Ink:
Early Espresso Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Large Oval Punch
Scallop Oval Punch
Cherry Cobbler Quilted Ribbon (retired)
Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. These cards are very pretty. The design papers are great and there is still enough "work" done to make them personal for people who want them to be hand-made!

  2. These cards caught my eye the moment I saw them. I love this dsp! I was inspired to create some of my own and posted about them on my blog. Thanks for the inspiration!
