Simple Masculine Birthday

Do you have trouble making masculine cards?  I have to say they're not the easiest for me.  I've found that keeping it simple is the best solution.

This card is pretty simple, but it has some nice details...like the patterned paper cut with a framelit, the layers and the paper piercing (see photo below).  Just a few seconds with a paper piercer can take a card from plain to special.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Perfect Punches

Paper:
Early Espresso Card Stock
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
     3x2-1/2 Layer
Very Vanilla Card Stock
     Scrap for Greeting
Festival of Prints DSP
I used a whole sheet...you could be more frugal. :)  You could use this same design and
make LOADS of birthday cards with the paper stack.

Ink:
Early Espresso Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Labels Collection Framelits
Paper Piercer & Mat
Festive Paper Piercing Pack
Mini Brads
Stampin' Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!
