Freshly Made Sketches #66 & A Sneak Peek

This is the card I made using the Freshly Made Sketches #66.

I used some new products from the Spring Catalog that goes live January 3rd.  One of the items is the new Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate.  I used it to make the embossed scallop design at the bottom of the Raspberry Ripple rectangle (it's a little hard to see in the picture).  It does take a little patience to use the the scoring plate, but it's worth it.  I used Dotto (removable adhesive) to hold my paper in place to the scoring board.  I also used a longer piece than I actually needed because you have a little dead space at the top edge.  I scored and then cut it down to size.

I also used my new Silhouhette Cameo again (I mentioned it in my last post).  I'm really excited because I think I'll use My Digital Studio much more because it works so well with the Cameo.  I used Connie's instructions in this video to make a custom-sized scallop circle.  I simply pulled in the Scallop Circle punch from MDS, followed Connie's instructions for turning it into a "cut" file and then sized the scallop circle to 2 inches.  The possibilities are endless!

The greeting was printed from MDS using the Bella Donna font at 12pt.  The text color is Early Espresso.  My project size was 5x3.5 because that's a standard print size for my printer.  I filled the page with several of the same greeting so I'll have them to use for later projects.

Did you notice the tiny butterfly on the tag?  It's from a new set called Itty Bitties.  This set has LOADS of tiny images that are just perfect to add a little finishing touch.
