The Open Sea

The Open Sea has become my "go-to" stamp set for masculine cards.  This particular card is for my father-in-law.  Note that the navy layer behind the main image is embossed with clear embossing powder.  It seemed to give the card a bit more interest to add some embossing.

I used my Soft Suede stamp pad for the ship image, but I had just re-inked it and it turned out looking more like Early Espresso.  Go figure.
