Double Swing Flip Card


My best friend recently sent me this video tutorial for the "double swing flip card" that she found on Splitcoaststampers.  She really liked the concept and thought it looked pretty easy.  I love it when people share ideas with me!

Same said friend made a delicious lunch for me this week.  We're not talking cold cuts and chips.  She had a full spread and everything was made from scratch (including peanut butter cupcakes with chocolate icing and Reese Cups crumbled on top....need I say more?).  Plus, we ate on her screened porch on a perfect spring day.  All of her hard work deserved a special card (and so much more), so I thought I would give this one a try.  Here's the "flip" side of the card:


The video tutorial provides measurements and instructions.  I decided to add a larger piece of patterned paper.  Be sure to add it BEFORE cutting the "swing" piece.  I also wish I had paper-pierced the Midnight Muse pieces...which you need to do before adhering them to the card.
