Flowers for Mom

I've had this card made for a while but needed to wait until I mailed it so my mom didn't see it before she received it. :)

I made the flower embellishments with our new Simply Pressed Clay and Buttons & Blossoms molds. These are so fun to make! I used a paint brush and ink from the top of my stamp pads to water color them. I also applied Crystal Effects to give them some shine.  Note that when you apply the Crystal Effects, some of the color will be removed so make your flowers a little bit darker than what you want the finished product to be.  I applied the Crystal Effects using a paint brush as well.
Jackie Topa has an awesome video tutorial found here.  I can't remember if she mentioned it in her video or not, but I put my molds in the freezer for about 30 minutes to make the shapes easier to remove.
