A funny thing happened....

I admit it.  Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind!  I "thought" I saw on Facebook that it was a stamping friend's!  I panicked because I knew I hadn't sent her a card.  So, I got busy and tried to make a really pretty card to make up for being a slack friend.

Once I finished the card and had it stamped and ready to go, I decided to check my calendar.  How did I miss her birthday?  Well, it wasn't listed on my calendar for was in April!  Yes, I sent her a card in April which is when her birthday actually is.  I think I must have seen her wishing someone else a happy birthday on FB and it went downhill from there.

Since I knew she'd get a good laugh out of it and enjoy getting a handmade card, I decided to send it to her anyway. :)

Here's everything I used:

Flower Shop*
Remembering Your Birthday

Wisteria Wonder CS
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
     Scraps for Flowers
Pistachio Pudding CS
     Scraps for Leaves
Whisper White CS
     5-1/2x2 Scalloped Layer
Wisteria Wonder DSP (from last year's 2012-2014 DSP stack)
     5-1/2x1-1/4 Polka Dot Layer

Basic Gray Stamp Pad
Whisper White Craft Pad

Delicate Designs Embossing Folder
Large Scallop Edgelit (It was super easy to use since I have my new Magnetic Platform!)
Little Leaves Sizzlit
Essentials Paper Piercing Pack
Paper-Piercing Tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat
White Embossing Powder
Embossing Buddy and Heat Tool
Pansy Punch
Pistachio Pudding Ruffle Stretch Trim
Large Rhinestones

*I soon discovered that it's kind of difficult to line up the Flower Shop stamps with the Pansy Punch if you're using clear mount.  To get the correct orientation of the flowers, look at the pictures on the front of the stamp case.  Then, I suggest marking the "bottom" petal of each stamp so you don't have to struggle each time you go to use the set...which you will a lot because it's so cute!

Thanks for stopping by!
