Last-Minute Wedding Card

My niece needed a wedding card....fast.  We were meeting in about an hour or so to attend a family wedding (the card was for her college friend who was in the wedding).  Did I have a wedding card on hand?  Of course not!  I'm notorious for not having a stash of cards to pull from when I need them.  I need to work on that!

Because I had seen so much beautiful inspiration on the Internet, I was able to quickly pull together this card.  I'm also glad I had a handful of clay roses made and ready to go.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
None on the outside.

Paper:
Smoky Slate Cardstock
     4-1/4x11 Card Base
     3-1/2x 5-1/2 Large Die-Cut Piece
Basic Black Cardstock
3x5-1/2 Dress Form (I could have gone smaller because you only see the top piece.)
Whisper White Cardstock
     4x5-1/4 Striped Embossed Layer
     3x4 Top Dress Piece*
     (2) 3x2 Layers for Dress*

*Remember to cut first and then emboss so your embossing won't get "smooshed" in the Big Shot.

Ink:
None

Accessories:
Dress Up Framelits
Apothecary Accents Framelits
Stripes Embossing Folder
Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder
Simply Pressed Clay
Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds
Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack
Stampin' Pierce Mat & Paper-Piercing Tool
Pearls

Thanks for stopping by!
Beth
