Magazine Inspiration

This card was inspired by a card on the cover of Card Creations Volume 11.  It's hard to believe but we used to have to rely on books/magazines and swaps for inspiration when I first started.  I enjoy surfing the internet for ideas, but sometimes it's fun to sit down and flip through the pages of an actual book.
The card I case'd was originally designed by Kimberly Crawford and can be found on the cover and on page 27.   I just changed the stamps, paper colors and relocated the flower to the top instead of the bottom.
It's kind of difficult at first to line up the Flower Shop images with the coordinating punch because the flower needs to be stamped in a particular direction.  To solve the problem, I used my P-Touch label maker to create a small "B" sticker to put on the bottom petal of each stamp.  I adhered it to the label so I can see it when I'm stamping the image.  I tried using a Sharpie to mark the bottom, but it wipes right off of the clear label.   To figure out which is the "bottom" petal, use the images on the cover of the clear mount case as a reference.
Here's everything I used:

     4-1/4x11 Card Base
     3x1/8 Sliver Across the Bottom

     3x3-1/2 Main Image
