Sunshine & Butterflies

It's a beautiful, sunny day here in the Carolinas, and I'm loving it!  What better way to celebrate than to make a card using sunny Daffodil Delight.  I hope this card makes the recipient's day a little brighter!
I've seen this particular layout on several different cards on the Internet.  However, the first place I saw it was on the cover of the March/April issue of Paper Crafts Magazine.  The designer is Alice Wertz.
The patterned paper is from the Quatrefancy Specialty DSP paper pack.  If bright, multi-color patterns aren't your thing, give Quatrefancy a second chance.  The beauty of this particular DSP pack is that it contains several monochromatic patterns that you can use on lots of different types of projects.  This pattern is on the reverse side of one of the multi-color pieces - which I've found a little difficult to use.  I'll have no trouble whatsoever using this Daffodil Delight pattern!
The large butterfly punch out was actually pretty easy to line up. The Whisper White paper is 2-1/4 inches wide which is the width of the punch.  I inserted the paper as far as I could so that it was resting against the punch and made sure the piece hanging out at the top was lined up with the punch.  I did start out with a piece that was longer than the finished size to give me plenty of paper to work with.
Here's everything I used:
