Envelope Punch Board Treat Holder


Here's another fun way to use your Envelope Punch Board for more than just envelopes.  This idea came from Diane Dimich.  She used the measurements listed on the Envelope Punch Board for a gift card envelope to make her treat holders (see her 9-23-13 post). 

Because the gift card envelope uses a piece of 5x5 paper, I wanted to see if I could make my DSP go farther by starting with a 4x4 piece.  It worked!  Just start your first punch/score with the left-hand edge lined up at 1-3/4". 

The holder fits a snack-size Hershey bar which is the perfect size to share with lots of people. I kind of like how the candy bar shows more at the top.  Wouldn't these be cute to give out randomly to clerks at stores while you're Christmas shopping?  I'm sure you can come up with lots of ideas for these cute treats.
