Traditional Ornament Card

This is the last option for my November Card Buffets.  It's a CASE of a card by a fellow demonstrator - Lorri Heiling.  I saw her card on a demonstrator site, so I can't link to it.  I can, however, link you over to her awesome blog.  I looked, but wasn't able to find the card I CASE'd on her blog.

You just can't get more traditional than red and green for Christmas.  I love the Ornament Keepsakes set that carried over from last year and the coordinating paper-piercing pack.  Just a little tip...be sure to pierce your shape first and then add your ornament with dimensionals.

I added the Merry Christmas banner because it looked too small stamped beneath the ornament all by itself.  Plus, it's easier to make sure the words are straight because you stamp first and then cut it out with the Bitty Banners Framelits.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Teeny Tiny Wishes

Paper:
Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
     4-1/4x11 Card Base
     2-3/4x3-3/4 Layer Behind Ornament
Wild Wasabi Card Stock
     3x4 Layer Behind Ornament
Whisper White Card Stock
     2-1/2x3-1/2 Background for Ornament
     3x2-1/2 Ornament
Scraps for Ornament Center & Greeting

Ink:
Wild Wasabi Stamp Pad
Cherry Cobbler Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Paper-Piercing Tool & Stampin' Pierce Mat
Bitty Banners Framelits
Wild Wasabi Stitched Grosgrain
Large Rhinestones
Stampin' Dimensionals
Glue Dots (Bow)

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a great weekend!
Beth

  1. Very nicely done! The paper piercing is a lovely extra touch. TFS!
