Watercolor Wonder Note Card Salvage

I hope you all are having a good weekend.  I call this card "salvaged" because it originally started out as one of the pretty Watercolor Wonder Note Cards available in the 2014 Occasions Catalog.  Unfortunately, due to may lack of water coloring skills (or maybe I'm just too OCD), I managed to mess up all 4 of the cards in the pack of this particular design. 

Rather than throwing all the cards out, I salvaged the backs of the cards (luckily they have the same pretty watercolor background).  I cut this piece down to 4-3/4x3-1/4 and adhered it to a Daffodil Delight card base.  I'm still not 100% happy with my coloring, but it is what it is.  I'll keep practicing!

For this card, I used my aqua painter to do a light Daffodil Delight wash over the entire flower.  I used a blender pen to add the highlights, the center and to color the stem.  I used ink from the lids of my stamp pads.
