Remember that Etcetera DSP?

Sometimes I get so excited about new products that I overlook stuff that's been in my stash for awhile...like the Etcetera DSP.   It's a good option if you need to make masculine cards like this one.

I had a little bit of trouble getting a consistent image from the greeting stamp.  It has a lot of smooth areas that were not stamping very evenly.  My solution was to stamp the image while standing and use the palm of my hand to give good firm pressure that covered the entire stamp.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Starburst Sayings (2014 Occasions)

Paper:
Soft Suede Card Stock
     5-1/2x11 Card Base
Old Olive Card Stock
     2-1/2x4-1/4 Embossed Layer
     3-1/2x3-1/2 Large Circle
Very Vanilla Card Stock
     3-1/4x3-1/4 Greeting

Ink:
Soft Suede Stamp Pad

Accessories:
Starburst Framelits (2014 Occasions)
Circle Framelits
Square Lattice Embossing Folder
Linen Thread
Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I found using versamark before the ink pad helps ink up those solid images better than bare rubber.

    1. Thanks, Cheryl! I'm going to give that a try. I've never thought of doing that.
