Chalk Talk Re-Make

We had a good time visiting family out of state this week, but it's good to get back home!  I'm ready to get back to stamping!
This is a re-make of this card I posted a couple of weeks ago.  Instead of using patterned paper for the background, I used embossed card stock.  The greeting is heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  I tried stamping it with Smoky Slate ink, but it seemed pretty flat.  Heat embossing can really step up a card with very little effort.
I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to make the gray layer behind the greeting.   Cut your card stock a hair under 2 inches x 3-1/4 inches.  Punch each end with the punch.  Easy!
Here's everything I used:
Chalk Talk
Smoky Slate Card Stock
     4-1/4x11 Card Base
     2x3-1/4 Layer
Perfect Plum Card Stock
     3-1/2x4-3/4 Large Layer
Whisper White Card Stock
     2x3-1/4 Stamped Layer
     Scrap for Greeting
Versamark Stamp Pad
Perfect Plum Stamp Pad
Chalk Talk Framelits
Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
1-3/8" Circle Punch
Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon
Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder
Silver Embossing Powder
Embossing Buddy & Heat Tool
Thanks for stopping by!
