Flower Patch

This card features the new Flower Patch stamp set and Flower Fair framelits which you can purchase in a bundle and save 15%.  Since the Flower Patch stamp set is photopolymer, you'll want to make sure you use a piece of foam - or something else with a little give - under your paper when stamping.  As I've mentioned before, be sure to keep a paper towel handy to wipe off any excess ink from your blocks.

The lines are actually one of the images from the Work of Art stamp set.  To get the "ombre" effect, use the following steps:

1)  Ink the bottom line with your Lost Lagoon marker.  Stamp off on scrap paper.

2)  Ink the middle line with your Lost Lagoon marker.  Stamp off on scrap paper.

3)  Ink the top line with your Lost Lagoon marker.  Do NOT stamp off on scrap paper.  Give the stamp a good "huff" to moisten the ink (so weird, but it works), and stamp.  Simple!

The center of the flower is heat embossed with the new Crushed Curry embossing powder, and it's adhere with a dimensional.  The entire front panel is also popped up with dimensionals.

  1. Love your ombre effect done this way! I've been on the fence with this bundle - so many flowers, so little time - but your Curry Embossing has tipped the scale. Thanks for sharing!
