Lovely Lace

This card features one of the new embossing folders...Lovely Lace.  I used it to emboss a piece of vellum card stock.

Here are a few tips:

1)  Once you emboss the vellum, it will be a little "crinkly."  To smooth it and attach it to the Blushing Bride piece, I used the wide tip of our Multipurpose Liquid Glue to coat the Blushing Bride card stock with a thin layer of glue.  Make sure you don't have any pools or globs of "white" glue.  It should just be a nice, thin coat.

2)  Attach the vellum/card stock piece tothe back of the card front with dimensionals. To make sure I didn't see any of the dimensionals from the front,  I placed them around the opening as closely as I could get them rather than on the back of the vellum/card stock piece.

3)  The opening on the card front was cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  It measures 4-1/4x2-3/4.

4)  The words are heat embossed with white embossing powder.

5)  I lightly sponged the edges of the bird with White Craft Ink.  I embossed some Blushing Bride card stock with the Lovely Lace folder and then punched the wing out.  It's neat how the design looks a little like feathers.

Here's everything I used:
