Simply Stamping

Like many of you, I really enjoy my punches, framelits, embossing folders and dies.  But...sometimes it's more fun to just get back to simply stamping.  I didn't use a single "tool" on this card, but I did use some new stamp sets!

The background watercolor swooshes (?) were made with an image from the Work of Art stamp set.  I started with Sahara Sand on the bottom.  Next, I inked the stamp with Lost Lagoon and stamped it off on scrap paper.  Then, I stamped twice on the card front.  It needed a more subtle look.

The silhouette image is from the beautiful new set called World of Dreams.

Here's everything I used:

Stamps:
Work of Art
World of Dreams
Love & Sympathy

Paper:
Lost Lagoon Card Stock
     5-1/2x8-1/2 Card Base
Basic Black Card Stock
     5-1/8x3-7/8 Large Layer
Whisper White Card Stock
     5x3-3/4 Large Layer
Moonlight DSP Stack
     1-1/4x3-3/4 Patterned Layer

Ink:
Sahara Sand Stamp Pad
Lost Lagoon Stamp Pad
Tuxedo Black Memento Ink

Accessories:
Lost Lagoon Stitched Satin Ribbon
Glue Dot (behind the knot)

Thanks for stopping by!
